Science and Halacha
Often high-school students within the ultra-Orthodox community have little exposure to the worlds of science and academia – a factor that can have significant ramifications regarding higher education opportunities following high-school.
Our Science and Halacha program offers them a unique opportunity to engage with high-level academic and scientific thought through the lens of Jewish law, with which they are already very familiar. Exposure to academic studies at this young age can have a significant positive impact on the numbers of students from within the ultra-Orthodox community seeking higher education. This can ultimately contribute towards closing future socio-economic gaps within Israeli society.
- Offers students insights into the often-surprising intersection between science and Jewish Law (Halacha)

- Attracts an average of 60 participants annually
