The Israeli Space Week

The Israeli Space Week  - To Infinity and Beyond!

Children are naturally excited by Space. After all, it’s dark, it’s far away and oh so mysterious. Indeed, ask children what they would like to be when they grow up, and a vast majority respond saying… an Astronaut!

This Family Space Fair, taking place during the Israeli Space Week, is an exciting fun-packed festival during which children, and their families can explore the wonderful world of space. Blending workshops, lectures, film-screenings, and hands-on science experiences, this lively exciting space science fair, staffed by top university lecturers, is a highlight for all.

Offering children the chance to investigate some of the space science questions that baffle us all, the Israeli Space Week event is a collaboration with the Israeli Space Agency. It takes place every January in memory of the Columbia space shuttle crash in January 2003, in which Colonel Ilan Ramon, the first Israeli astronaut, lost his life.
