Academic study does not belong to academics alone. On the contrary, at the Hebrew University Youth Division, we believe that academic study is an arena that should be accessible and open to all, children, teens and young adults alike.
We believe that the earlier we pique the curiosity of youngsters, the greater the chances of broadening their horizons and encouraging them to pursue higher education in the future. Emphasizing academic excellence and creativity, and adopting a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural approach, the Youth Division offers children and teens from the wider community an entryway into the world of academic science. Through offering these youngsters the tools for critical analysis, fostering creative thinking and encouraging cultural diversity, the University is enabling children from all walks of life to experience the forefront of scientific research and the unbridled joy of scientific discovery.
All activities – including formal educational programs, informal educational initiatives and community outreach activities - held by the Hebrew University Youth Division take place under the auspices of the Belmonte Science Laboratories Center and the Joseph Meyerhoff Youth Center for Advanced Studies. The programs are run in partnership with philanthropic foundations, government ministries, municipalities, research institutions and elite companies representing the forefront of Israeli industries.
